Terms of Service

Last updated: August 4, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Ruby. They cover our website, the discovery call, and the audit we build from it. By booking a call, or by ticking the consent box on our website, you accept them. Please read them — they are written to be understood, not to be skipped.

1. Who we are

Ruby (“we,” “us,” “our”) is operated by Teodor Todorov Hristov, an individual based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, trading as Ruby at rubyaudit.com. You can reach us at any time at teodor@rubyaudit.com.

2. Who this service is for

Ruby is for businesses. By booking, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and that you are acting for a business, in a commercial capacity, and with authority to accept these terms on its behalf. Because of this, consumer rights that apply to purchases made for personal use — including the statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract — will not usually apply. Where the law says otherwise, the law wins.

3. Booking and the discovery call

You choose a time through our scheduling page and give us a phone number. At that time we call you. The call takes roughly 20–40 minutes and is a conversation about your tools, your workflows, and where your week goes.

You can reschedule using the link in your confirmation email — there is no penalty and no need to explain. If you are not reachable at the time you booked, we will try to reach you once more. If we cannot, the booking lapses. While the founding pilot is running and places are limited, a lapsed booking may mean the place goes to someone else.

4. The call is made by an AI agent, and it is recorded

The call is conducted by Annie, our AI assistant — not a human. We tell you this at the start of every call, before anything else is discussed.

The call is recorded and transcribed, because the audit is built directly from what you say. We ask for your permission at the beginning of the call, and nothing proceeds until you give it. If you would rather not be recorded, say so and we will end the call politely — there is no penalty and no hard feelings, but we will not be able to produce an audit, since there would be nothing to build it from. How recordings are stored and how long we keep them is set out in our Privacy Policy.

5. What the audit is

Your audit is a written report, delivered by email, normally within 48 hours of the call. It reviews the tools and workflows you described, ranks the opportunities we found by impact against effort, names specific off-the-shelf products with their costs and setup times, and sets out a short plan for the first few days. It is followed by a call to walk you through it.

6. What the audit is not

The audit is a set of recommendations. We do not implement anything for you, we do not configure your systems, and we do not take over any part of your operations. What you do with the report is your decision.

It is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, employment or regulatory advice, and it should not be relied on as any of those. If a recommendation touches how you handle money, staff or personal data, take proper professional advice before acting on it.

The audit is built from what you tell us on one call. We do not inspect your systems or verify your figures independently, so its usefulness depends on the accuracy and completeness of what you share. Please be candid — rough honest numbers beat precise flattering ones.

7. The tools we recommend

We recommend third-party products we do not own or control. Their prices, features, plan limits and availability change without notice, and any figure we quote is correct to the best of our research on the day the audit is written. You contract with those providers directly, on their terms, and you are responsible for checking that a tool suits your obligations — particularly around data protection and anything regulated in your industry — before you adopt it.

On commissions: some links in our free playbook may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. This never buys a place in an audit. Recommendations in your audit are ranked on merit alone, as though we had no stake in the answer, and the cheapest or free option wins whenever it is the right one.

8. Free founding audits

We are currently giving the full audit away free to a limited number of founding clients, while we build our first case studies. A free audit is the same audit — the same call, the same research, the same report. There is nothing to pay, and no card is required.

Places are limited and the pilot may be closed, paused or changed at any time. Once a call is booked and confirmed, we honour it.

We may ask for your feedback afterwards, and we may ask whether you would be willing to be named as a case study. Both are entirely optional, saying no changes nothing, and we will never use your name, your business name or anything identifying you in our marketing without your written permission.

9. Paid audits, price and payment

Outside the pilot, the audit is a one-time fee of $1,000 (US dollars), exclusive of any tax that applies to you. Payment is taken after the discovery call and before we build the audit, so we only build for clients who have commissioned the work.

Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Once payment clears we start building, and we deliver within 48 hours.

10. The Reclaimed Hours Guarantee

If your audit does not identify at least five hours a week of opportunity, you do not pay — and if you have already paid, you get a full refund. If the audit misses the mark in some other way, we will redo it once, free, within 14 days of delivery. This guarantee applies to paid audits. A free founding audit costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund, but the redo offer applies to it just the same.

Three conditions, so the guarantee is not open to abuse:

Beyond this guarantee, all sales are final. The audit is a bespoke piece of work built for one business, and once it is delivered it cannot be returned. We cannot offer refunds based on whether you choose to act on our recommendations, or on what happens when you do.

11. Results are not guaranteed

Your results will vary depending on education, effort, application, experience and background. We cannot guarantee that you will make money, or that you will be successful, if you employ our suggestions or strategies specifically or generally. Any hours or figures shown on our website or in a sample audit are illustrations of what an audit can find, not a promise of what yours will find or of what you will earn.

12. Contacting you

When you tick the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message and email about your audit, including by automated dialling systems and AI, at the number and address you gave us — even if that number is on a Do Not Call list. We do this to deliver the service you asked for.

You can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, or by emailing teodor@rubyaudit.com. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

13. Who owns what

The finished audit is yours. You may use it, copy it and share it inside your business however you like, for as long as you like. What you may not do is sell it, publish it, or present it as your own product or service to other businesses.

Everything behind it — our templates, our method, our research library and our website — remains ours. We may use anonymised, non-identifying insights to improve how we work.

14. Confidentiality

What you tell us about your business stays between us. We treat it as confidential, we share it only with the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy so that we can do the work, and we do not disclose it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

15. Our liability

We take this work seriously and we stand behind it, but there are limits to what we can be responsible for. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for anything that happens as a result of decisions you make after reading the audit.

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the audit in question. Where an audit was provided free of charge, we accept no liability for it, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16. Services we rely on

We use Calendly for scheduling, Retell AI for the call, Stripe for payments, Google for email and file sharing, and Netlify for hosting. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and outages or failures on their side are outside our control.

17. The website

Our website is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, or use it for anything unlawful.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here when you book or pay is the version that governs your audit, and the “last updated” date above tells you when we last changed anything of substance.

19. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, and the courts of Bulgaria have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except where mandatory law in your own country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before anything reaches a court, please email us. Almost everything is quicker to fix by talking.
